Vancouver Canucks Make Lineup Changes for Game 5

Changes Aim to Improve Team's Performance

The Vancouver Canucks have made several lineup changes ahead of Game 5 of their playoff series against the Edmonton Oilers.

The most notable change is the addition of forward Elias Pettersson to the top line alongside JT Miller and Brock Boeser. Pettersson has been out of the lineup since March 14 with an upper-body injury.

Other changes include the following:

  • Tanner Pearson has been moved to the second line with Bo Horvat and Conor Garland.
  • Nils Höglander has been moved to the third line with Vasily Podkolzin and Curtis Lazar.
  • Alex Chiasson has been moved to the fourth line with Tyler Motte and Matthew Highmore.
  • Jack Rathbone has been inserted into the lineup on defense in place of Tucker Poolman.

The Canucks are hoping that these changes will help them improve their performance and even the series against the Oilers.
