Early Life and College Career

Jared Goff was born in Novato, California, and attended Marin Catholic High School. He was not heavily recruited out of high school, but he eventually earned a scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley. Goff redshirted his freshman year in 2013 and then served as the backup quarterback in 2014. In 2015, Goff took over as the starting quarterback and led the Golden Bears to a 8-5 record. He threw for 4,714 yards and 43 touchdowns, and he was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year. Goff's performance in 2015 helped him become a first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

NFL Career

Goff was selected by the Los Angeles Rams with the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He started 16 games as a rookie and threw for 3,804 yards and 21 touchdowns. In 2017, Goff led the Rams to a 11-5 record and a berth in the NFC Divisional Round. He threw for 3,880 yards and 28 touchdowns in 2017. Goff has continued to be a solid performer for the Rams, and he helped the team reach the Super Bowl in 2019. He is one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the NFL, and he is poised to have a long and successful career.

Personal Life

Goff is married to Christen Harper, a former Miss California USA. The couple has two children together. Goff is also a passionate philanthropist, and he has donated millions of dollars to various charities.
